HI I NEED SOME HELP IF U ARE FAMILIAR WITH 1997 GMC SAFARI AWD 4.3L
V6 IT HAS 161K MILES IT BUCKS (MISSES,STUMBLES,HOWEVER U WANT 2 PUT
IT) ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS COLD. WHEN IT IS WARMED UP IT LESSENS AND
SOMETIMES EVEN GOES AWAY. I ONLY KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT CARS. THE
PREVIOUS OWNER REPLACED EGR, PCV, COMPLETE TUNE UP WITH AC DELCO
PARTS, & AIR FILTER. THE CHECK ENGINE LITE DOESNT COME ON WHEN IT ACTS
UP AND I CHECKED FOR ANY TROUBLE CODES THERE ARE NO CODES. THE
PREVIOUS OWNER SAID IT MIGHT BE A FAULTY INJECTOR? I DONT KNOW IF IT
IS FUEL RELATED OR WHAT, I DONT WANT 2 BE GUESSING AND THROWING PARTS
AT IT. PLEASE IF U CAN HELP ME OUT DROP ME A MESSAGE THANK YOU!

if you got the 4.3 vortec v6 and smell gas or misses alot. it is the spider
injuction . i got a 95 and had the same problem and you wouldn't get a code for
that.

You might look at the Throttle Position sensor.... I tended to lunch one per
year on my 95. Something about the position of the thing exposed it to the
elements.

Arron:
It sounds increasingly like a Throttle Position sensor.
