I have an 88 Caprice with a stock AM/FM digital radio with clock. The problem
is that neither work. It all lights up when the car is running but the clock
doesn't run and there's no sound from the radio. It's not the antenna because
I don't even get static. Just silence. And I don't get a stereo indicator on
the FM band. Any ideas what could be the cause and how to fix it? Thanks.

Make sure the connections are all still intact. I have an AM/FM from my 83
caprice if you want it. Just taking up space. All you pay for is shippin. No
clock I don't think..Can't really remember.FM sure is nice. lol. My 70 nova had
the original radio in it..working...only got 1 station..AM band only.
Infomercials. ick.

units, flip down face, A/V ins and outs for dvd hookup..$3 a pop at a yard
sale!!!! So check some yard sales..especially if there is a car under a
tarp..the
womans son had smashed his civic into a tree racing..i got the radios and a
box w/ a working 600w jensen amp and 2 10s" for $10!!!! sure it's an odd
shot..but ya never know.

Yeah a 68 dart..got a 318 in it...dropped the 273...it was tired. heh now
the 318 is tired and i'm looking for a 440. or a hemi (cuz the car is going to
my son who's name is hemi..but i got 15 yrs for that haha)
