Just wondering if anyone has put different tires on their Aveo yet?.
I drove it the snow twice last winter and it SUCKED! I've always
sworn by front wheel drive but not with the factory Kumhos. These
thing slide all over the place in the rain! Its the only complaint I
have with the car but I need to do something before the snow flies.

Nope haven't been able to justify it yet...,but, I agree the Kumhos are an Achilles heel to the car.

www.tirerack.com has a lot of reviews on tires that may be helpful...

I believe they are the same as the ones that came on mine....Hankook
Optimo H420. If they're the same ones...good luck this winter! I
drove in the snow twice last winter and they were useless. The slight
grade up to our driveway was all it took to bring it to a spinning
standstill. I dont think they are that good on wet roads either.
The guy at Goodyear said the best tire would be a Dunlop SP Sport A2
Plus. Quoted me a price of $390 minus a $50 rebate ($340) out the
door installed. TireRack has them for $51 a piece plus the rebate.
Hopefully, I have another month or two to get make a decision and get
them on.
